Here you can familiarise yourself with Guild Loyalty Point Basics.

Guild loyalty Points will be abbreviated to GLP, and become active on February 1st 2012.
GLP are earned per Guild Member, not per character.
The weekly cap is 100GLP, with a maximum cap of 300GLP. Once you earn 100GLP in a week, you will not earn any rewards until the following week. Once you reach 300GLP, you will not earn any rewards until you are below 300GLP.
If anyone is found to be abusing the GLP system their GLP will be immediately set to 0.

GLP will be updated every Tuesday and every Friday. Everybody's GLP will be visible on the Master Invite List found at eolguild.com.
GLP will be reset to 0 with every content expansion and occasionally with majority vote of the Guild Leader, Officers and Dragon Slayers. Whenever GLP is reset we will provide recompense, this will be based on the total number of GLP across all players and will be in the form of in-game money (gold).

Earning Guild Loyalty Points.

Players earn GLP through guild activities and guild contributions.
Each activity is weighted and visible on the guild website, all GLP rewards will be announced in the activity description on the in game calendar and Guild Leaders and Officers will earn GLP at 60% of normal.

Additional GLP may be awarded to any guild player at any time on the agreement of the Guild Leader, all Officers and one Dragon Slayer (if the awardee is a Dragon Slayer, an additional Dragon Slayer will be asked to vote). However, a player may never earn more than 100 GLP in one week.

If you feel that points have been awarded unjustly, you should in-game mail the guild leader. If you believe an error has been made you are to use the guild messenger service found on eolguild.com to report this.

Spending Guild Loyalty Points.

You may use GLP to purchase items from the GLP tab of the guild bank, any items in the GLP tab will have their cost displayed on EoLguild.com (this feature is experimental).
There may be from time to time special events where GLP can be used for rewards; these will be noted in the description for these events.

The most common method of spending your GLP will likely be via gear bidding.
Bidding is only available for tier tokens and items that are BoP.
You may only bid on your Main Spec (MS) as noted in the Officer info tab within the guild roster; you may only bid for items that match your proficiency, i.e. cloth/mail/etc.

You cannot bid for the following items: mounts, pets, BoE's, patterns, recipes, crafting reagents and quest items. You may not bid for Off Spec (OS).

Bidding Using Guild Loyalty Points.

Each roll, there will now be three phases, a bidding phase, a need phase and then a greed phase. Normal raid looting rules will apply, however, winning a bid does not lower your rolling priority on a need roll. The Minimum bid is 30 GLP.

Once you have bid on an item and won, the bid GLP are deducted full stop. This means that if you bid and win an item then decide to trade it to the second highest bidder you will still lose your GLP. This also means if you bid and win an item then a better item drops for you, you will only be eligible for the need and greed portion of loot rolling.

You may only bid for one item each week, and the maximum bid is 200GLP. If two or more people bid the same amount, a call will be made to raise bids; if two or more people bid the maximum bid amount then people may choose to pass, if there are still two or more people the item will be rolled between those people, the winner having their GLP deducted.

Bidding Using Guild Loyalty Points.

Bids will be silently whispered to the master looter, unless the master looter wishes to bid, then bids will go to the raid leader unless the raid leader would like to bid; in this event bids will go to the highest ranking person who does not want the item.
For example, if Clobbarella is leading a raid and master looter, and wants an item that Taratt also wants, Symphinea would be bid master. If Symphinea also wanted this item the bid master would become the next highest ranked player in the raid.

Let's say you have 300 GLP, you really want an item that's dropped but you don't want to spend 200 GLP so you whisper your bid of 150GLP to the bid master.
If your bid was the highest you win the item and the 150 GLP is deducted, leaving you with 150 GLP. If somebody bid higher than you they win the item and your GLP will stay the same (300). If two or more players bid 150 (your bid) then a call to increase bids will be made and the highest bidder will win.

Guild Loyalty Points Extra Information.

Guild loyalty points will be rewarded at the end of each activity never before; you must be present at the end of an activity to receive your GLP.
You may only spend points that you have already earned, points will be deducted the moment you win a bid you will never be permitted to have a negative value, for example you may not spend points that you are earning in a current activity.

If there are any non-guild players participating in an activity GLP will be still be awarded but bidding may be suspended for that activity.
Wherever possible we will make arrangements to have bidding available but this cannot be guaranteed.
